Prepare your new Switch OLED for transfer The Switch will now tell you that your data will be transferred from this hardware, and can now be put to one side for the moment. Since we’re transferring data OFF this Switch and over to a new one, we’ll want to select Source Console. You’ll then want to hit Next, and then Next again. Scroll down the page and select Transfer Your User Data. From the Home menu, go to Settings, and then Users. Though you’ll need to have both the old and new Switch consoles on hand, the first thing you’ll want to do is get your existing Switch hardware ready for the transfer. Prepare your old Switch hardware for transfer You can pick them up right where you left off. Once your account is on the new Switch hardware, all you need to do is reinstall your favourite games.
